I do. I was in high school. I saw them after they ended up on the "getting close to has-beens" circuit, in McAllen Texas. They were playing with Warrant, Slaughter, and Quiet Riot. My first thought after they came on stage was "Man, Traci Gunns is REALLY short..."

I never cared for them. They always seemed like a wannabe GNR band. In fact, they opened for Maiden once when Axl pulled out at Irvine Meadows. They were terrible.

After a string of successes in the L.A. music scene, Axl decided he wanted a change. He left his band behind and joined another one called ?L.A. Guns?, named mainly for Tracii Guns, the lead guitarist and band founder. During this time, Izzy already booked a gig for Hollywood Rose, not knowing that Axl had left the band. At the same time, Tracii booked a gig for L.A. Guns. In order to alleviate a seemingly dangerous situation, the remaining members of L.A. Guns joined with the members of Hollywood Rose, creating a new band?Guns N? Roses.

Funny you should say that as half of the GNR members came from LA Guns back in 83

If you guys haven't checked out the new GNR with Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots you definately should, not as disappointing as Axl's short GNR reunion. Their name is Velvet Revolver and their site is at this address . Its Scott Weiland, Slash, Duff, and Matt Sorum plus another guitarist.

Ohh and btw, fuck the guns.... im rocking my WINGER shirt right now. (she's only 17 :P)

True, but the L.A. Guns that most people remember are the ones who cashed in on the glam years 86-90. The lineup I saw live in 1987 was atrocious.
