Using .org domains for adult sites

Is it illegal or against icann's rules to use an .org domain for an adult site? I see many adult domains using .org, but that still doesn't answer my question. Anyone know?

Because .org was setup for non-profit organizations. I just don't know if this rule has relaxed through the years or not.

Yeah, but that was like 20 years ago. Doesn't apply anymore.
