T3 Prices in kingston

I called a bunch of backbone providers in the area including MCI, Bell, etc and the LOWEST price I could get a FULL T3 line was $42,000 a month. (approx $30,000usd). I really wonder how local 'in house' hosting companies afford it.

Most of them have deals to resell Telco services. They don't own their own connectivity.

Bandwidth prices in Canada have no bearing on reality. I just canned a $1800 / month T1 that I replaced with a $50 setup at Rackshack. I am now not doing anything in Canada any longer.

Why do you want to setup in Kingston?

I know. Basically it came down to about $950CA per mbit. I just about died.

I told them I get around $50USD a megabit in the States and they laughed.
