I dont know about you guys but I loved WWIV boards... the rest had a bad interface, and was straight up not fun to use
|
i used to think that all new internet users should have to answer some questions:
1: Are you connecting to the internet with the sole reason of buying porn? - If yes proceed and enjoy you cyberwank - If no please continue on to question two 2: Do you know what a sysop is? - If no your modem will now self destruct - If yes please enjoy your stay, you are worthy of your connection. |

I used to write a lot of anarchy type text files back in the 80's and was suprised to see how many are floating around on the web and actually for sale on some "hacker" cd's. Even found a couple of web pages that reformatted some all nice.

Byron Connection, Spitfire (pioneer), 4 lines, 1990-1997.
Was Canada's Lakota netmail hub, wrote the Usenet tosser and the tape drive access door. |
if I didn't stay on BBS's so long I would have got in on the big money of the internet.

G-files kick ass.
Those ebook people think they're real innovators. |
Ran a board in the ealry 80's called Delta City on a commodore 64. Was based in NJ. Nothing but warez, as were most commie boards. Started off at 300 baud....I still remember practically cumming in my pants when 1200 baud modems came out.
Anyone remember a commie board called "The Sierra Wave"? The guy had something like 20 or 30 gigs of storage, which at the time was fuckin unbelievably huge. Could get any game imaginable off that board. |
ghostship in ottawa, but it got busted later, xfactor, when i was in scum, (warez group) and park central in nyc, it had 16 lines, was in prophecy then. those were my fav bbs'
|
Remember Akira, The Void, MasturbationStation etc.. Only Amiga boards back then in the early 90's. It was fun and abit illegal. Carding VISAs to get free calls. Oh dear.. :helpme
|
Ran a few bbses back in the day.... used the TAG software.. in which I edited every single string it had to make it look almost like a vision/2 (or vision/x) board.
First one was called Shockwaves Table..(shareware) then Global Universe.. (Warez/Shareware) and finally Forbidden Darkness (HPAVCT/Warez)... had the name of Shockwave then I changed to Liquid Explosion... ohhh those were the good ol days ;) Sometimes I wish I could go back in time to enjoy em again heh |

Heh I used to write a lot on how to get shit for free, from groceries to how to get into theme parks and clubs for free, drink for free, etc. I'd post a link but it's embarrasing to read the stuff now... |
