the best way to do this is find out what (if any) law firm the judge belongs to when he's not a judge and hire someone from his office.
Other than that, what *good* lawyer do you think works in traffic court?

You probably have had to hire all the rest.

They're only as court-appointed as they feel.

I can't help you with a lawyer, but I, as well as a few others in my office have plenty of experience dealing with traffic tickets.

Did you know there are Georgia laws that say the following:

1. You cannot get a speeding ticket while on a hill of more than 5% grade (Matt in our office got off a speeding ticket on this one)
2. A police officer cannot cite you within a mile of a jurisdiction change.
3. A jury trial can be requested for a speeding ticket.

Driving from Midtown to Jonesboro daily has made me research every possible loophole

Also, go to Amazon and get the book "Beat your ticket, go to court and win"

Worth every penny.

I found a lawyer with a leave of absence on on my trial week so it should be easy to postpone.

I wouldn't even waste the time with a lawyer,

I been in traffic court, just cut a deal with the solictor

There goal is to dismiss 99% of the cases so it doesn't have to goto trial. they'll do anything to get out of a trial.

That's fulton county. I know more than one person who has pled not guilty and never heard another word about it. I got the ticket in Hall County. They are actually organized over here so that dosen't work quite as well.

Well i am speaking from my experience in Gwinette county

but i seriously can't see any differences.

Off course before you make a plea to the judge you gotta talk to the solictor first to work out a deal

God damn, fulton county courthouse on trinity is a fucking shithole. I go the speed limit now, seriously, not because of the fine, but because the court house sucks so bad.

Yup, I'd consider hall county (I'm assuming it was in gainesville) a small town area, good luck! You know how small towns are...

I would think getting a lawyer would cost more than paying the fine
