does anyone who does video here have the ability to convert video from pal to ntsc?

please let me know...i have pal video here

I use T-rex from studio-8 if that helps

TMPGEnc is free and it can do that.

the thing is, is that i only have a ntsc deck and from what i was told, i would need a pal deck.....insane!

Are you talking about video thats on a tape? or already captured to a hard drive?

I would not even think of using TMPGenc on a PAL > NTSC project.

For one its a completly different interlace method, conopus procorder is the only software i've seen pull it off without errors.

But that point is moot as she has a PAL tape, which needs to be bounced to NTSC first or she's dead in the water.

Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
