You know, the big crowds of mexicans on certain street corners, sometimes in front of hardware stores, in the mornings...

How much do they run per hour/day? Just for basic construction and moving large objects type of work.

Is there much of a difference in pay based on geographic location?

I have a couple times, once was to dig a trench under my house, back in 84/85 Paid $20 for 2 hours, and was a damned fine trench, I almost felt bad about putting a sewer line in there and covering it up

I hired three guys to move my household shit when we got this house... I helped of course, rented the truck, drove, all that shit... bought them lunch... paid them $220 each for 4 hours work.

Yea i've hired them one time to move stuff from my house and into our uhaul it i paid them $100 so $50 a person and about 4 hrs

damn.. every time i help someone move, i usually get either a couple slices of pizza, 1 cold beer, or a "here's your tailgate, i just accidently tore it off your truck..."

That's what I was just thinking. Professional movers out here cost about $300 for 3 guys and a truck for a few hours.
