      I guess it would depend.

I've got a 2nd cousin who did a very long stretch of time for killing the man who raped his best friend's girl.

We used to go visit him in prison a long time ago, he's out now but he's kind of weird.

The whole prison thing did a number on his head. My grandmother still likes him around, but alot of my cousins that are my age we get kind of creeped out.

But if you're talking about someone who served a stretch for a non-violent crime and hasn't been in and out of prison for their entire life then I might be willing to give thema shot.

Yes and have done... but it depends on much.

A "decent" con will not be dipping his hand in the cash register for $100 - I am talking about people where this would be "beneath" them.

They are also handy for keeping other "honest" folks keep their hands out of the cash register!!

But... there are also a load of scumbags who could not be trusted with 5 cents!

That's part of the difference between "decent" cons and scum. They will tell you exactly what the did at the last bank robbery and how they fucked it up!

Unfortunately this industry has brought in a load of criminals (Sunnydollars etc.) because they see easy money -
Criminals (The thieving kind) are mostly driven by greed, they get a madness for more more more cash - A thief will almost never stop - So no, I would never hire an ex thief.
An ex muderer - Yes! I would give him lots of work!

I can't answer your question, but I can say we do business with Sunny Dollars and they're great, always pay on time, easy to maintain a good relation with, they sure seem like a pretty good program to me

                                    Do I have proof - ?

Well - Here are a couple of threads - One started by me explaining how they stole, theived and hacked my stats pages:

                                    http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...t=sunnydollars

The second thread was started by sunnydollars saying they were taking legal action against me because of the things I had said (The previous thread)

                                    http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...t=sunnydollars

That was some time ago - I live in the same city as them - and so far - no legal action - !

It would be difficult for them to do this because the case against them is still open - They have already been fined for using stolen programmes etc - And they have given a statement to the police saying they did enter my stats page and cause loads of damage -
They say I gave them permission -
SunnyJack admitted to me and my wife they finally guessed the password - Which means they lied to the police -
SunnyJack did say he was going to make a statement to tell the truff - But he backed down at the last minute -
Unfortunate for him, really - Because we went to that meeting extremely prepared and were not going to miss one word said...

I have remarkably little faith in the legal system. Just because a judge says guilty or a jury of the great uneducated says guilty doesn't mean that they actually did anything at all.

Every day injustices are being done by our governments. This is because nobody is accountable. I would LOVE to see if a prosecutor prosecutes a case he knows is wrong to serve the sentence he was seeking if the judge sides with the defendant. That's called responsibility for your actions.

Take a look at the life sentence handed to the Oklahoma man for spitting at a cop. That is justice at its finest. Land of the free my ass. And happy Independence Day!

I have friends who were swindled out of thousands of $$$ by someone who did jail time for wire fraud; he swindled my friends after he got out so obviously, prison taught him nothing..

It all depends how long u know that convicted criminal...Convicted criminal could even been your brother or father and u won't trust them?
I think it ia all a big question and that is diffrent from the person to person..Better think in your head how long do u know that person then asking here for that kind of advice!
But let's say it is 50/50 for tusting it or no...

I am more carefull of non convicted people. At least if he/she was convicted I know what I'm dealing with.

The liars and BS artists you meet all the time in business are just "non convicted criminals" and they are very smart at what they do. Basicaly I will trust a convicted person as much as a "non convicted one"
