If you had to hold your hand up all the time I think that would probably get tiring pretty soon. With a mouse at least your hand is resting on the table, so you get more hours of fragging before your pyschotic episodes kick in from playing too many video games.

makes sense, since most infrared receivers are pretty
slow and hardly ever used for gaming.

for slow shooting games, like the ones they've demoed
it on it works great, but judging by the fact that there
seems to be a delay of about 1/2 second, playing
games with lots of action (Unreal Tournament, Quake,
etc) will be shitty, cause you'll have to wait half a
second just to see your reaction on the screen, and
it's gonna get your ass shot.
