sounds stupid, but i want to know what % of the internet users have a high screen resolution?

i would imagine dialup ppl have a lower resolution rite?

anyone have statistics about this?

I think the trend is moving from 800x600 to 1024x768 and I don't think that connection rate has anything to do with resolution to be honest... I was stuck on dialup until just recently and I've always run 1600x1200....

dialp has nothing to do with res! the commonly used res is 800x600 with the general public!

At first I tought it was a typo, but 800x600 is just below?

800 x 600 is the most popular setting still. Mostly because computers are usually shipped with that setting and people don't know how to change it.

The next popular is 1024 x 768.

And believe it or not, and I can't but the logs don't lie, 1 out of every 75 surfers are at 640 x 480 still.

Don't look at your sites at that setting, you won't like what you see.
