				Side-step ACACIA ?

Is ACACIA able to revenues from sites using plug-ins?

If so, how does ACACIA claim rights to revenue from plug-in using sites? If not, why isn't everyone doing that? Plug-In-Site charges $1 per million gigabytes and only has one customer... They can take 5% of that gross. It's the same thing that airlines and subways do to avoid liability - each seat on a plane or subway car is its own corporation. I don't see how this would be any different ? Cheers, Matt |

Yes, as I recall, they (Acacia) specifically discuss 3rd party plug-in content & they claim you're liable and this is not a valid way to circumvent their claims. They also claim affiliates promoting your site/s using their technology are liable... ...and of course the surfer who ultimately views the content is liable as well |
