Tgp2 -
Just read this article that a bud passed me the link for. Seems very interesting, however it was written some time ago.
I wonder if anyone has any similar experiences ... or if you verify these numbers are all bullshit now? Thanks article

The comparision stats are from testing in May, 2003. The article was posted in June, 2003.
It's not out of date. |

oh shit, i saw "Aug 24th" but it was when the dude joined. Ok i guess your right
Now my question is, if the stats are that fantastic ... whats the problem? You would think it would knock TGP off the face of the earth

Yeah like Snowone said it was posted 02 Jun 2003 No one is trying to knock tgp off the face of the earth But yes the stats are that good. The only real problem is traffic and that's becoming less of a problem as of late. Tgp2 of the past got pretty, well goofy. I can't really blame anyone for moving away from what it had turned into back then. A few people back then turned it into something to try and feed their greed and made some rather dumb choices. Now it's taking a lot of time to recover from the bad rep caused by all the BS. Tgp2 today is more of what it was ment to be in the first place. No smoke and mirrors or other BS. So that is what is wrong or was wrong with Tgp2. More and more sponsors are supporting Tgp2 again with things like hosted Tgp2 galleries and downloadable premade Tgp2 galleries. Some have even boosted the pay out to the webmaster. Today you can submit your Tgp2 galleries to the Tgp2GalleryPool and after being reviewed and accepted, have them automatically added to more then 40 sites that use Tgp2Traffic by niche. Tgp2Traffic pulls the reviewed galleries from the gallery pool and adds them to it's own database. At last report Tgp2Traffic is getting 11k of gallery views a day. This is still growing also. If you have never tried using a Tgp2 gallery yourself, give it a try. Hit it with 5 to 10k of traffic and then you can see for yourself. Hope this helps Oz |

Does regular TGP traffic fit in well with the new style?
Or should i start from scratch. I was thinking of forcing 100k or so off my own TGP's to some tgp2 galleries just to get an idea of CTR and conversions.

I'm thinking of putting up a tgp2, and maybe making it relatively big... if only I had time.

Of course its a statistical freak but nice to see I made a sale from an 'experimental' TGP2 gallery just after it saw its first traffic.
I think it will make sense to mix a bunch of em in with other galleries on CJ2 type tgps/own small or 'fake' tgps, at least thats what I'm experimenting with. If you want to try a few without building em, theres a few hosted tgp2's in my sig for bbw traffic if you got an ARS account. |

Hmmm the more I read.. the more I like. I ignored it after all the stuff that happened when it first started but it seems to be doing well again. So submitting to the pool gives one enough traffic? ASre there any TGP2 sites that DON'T use the pool that are worth submitting to?

My TGP2 hotboxhotel.com trades with TGPs and does well.
Why not set up a tgp2 using TGP2 traffic.com and a trade script and feed it some traffic from your TGP. Drop around and see who is looking for trades. No one expects anyone to change their TGPs directly into TGP2s. |
