Just so you all know...the script kiddie olympics is underway...
That's part of the reason for the recent attacks, I think these are just preliminary rounds too. By sunday they'll probably break afew things.
Buncha pimply, black hat fools out there rattling their swords...but no doubt quite a few of them are smarter than they smell...

The majority of the kiddies in the contest don't know shit from Shinola. It's the few that DO know what they are doing that worry me. On the 5th I plan to kill FTP and SSH access on my servers and basically only leave the vital services running. It's better to be safe than sorry.
The website for their little contest was http://www.defacers-challenge.com which seems to be tits up at the moment.
