I think a lot of the people who post on message boards are just lonely and losers. This kind of place is their social life and when it goes wrong they take it personally.

Wow. :glugglug I don't know this guy and I'd have to speak to him to be able to say for sure, but based on what you've written and what was on that wav file, I think it's possible that he may have something called Asperger's Syndrome . I worked in a profession that I had to deal with and treat people with it and it sounds like that may be the case with him. The repetitive phrases and words that he uses over and over are called perseverations, and that's very common. He also seems to do it in his posts, writing the same things over and over. Usually people with AS function on a high level in a lot of areas, but they have absolutely NO understanding of social situations or social appropriateness. The chief hallmark (and usually problem) of AS, is a "fixation" the person will develop on something. It could be anything and there's never any reason to understand why they choose whatever it is they lock in on. For him it seems to be the whole "pornstar" deal, which is probably why you're getting caught up in it. I had a 14 yo girl who was obsessed with babies and being a mom and guy in his 40's who's thing was the Russian Orthodox Church and all things having to do with it. He was born and raised in the South and his whole family was Baptist so nobody knew where the hell he got it from. He also used to ride a bike 6 miles one way to my office, every single day that I worked, because he wanted to smell my hair. :)

On the plus side, I've never known anyone with AS to hurt anyone. They're usually just really socially inappropriate and don't know when to stop. If you check around, he may be living with relatives or at least have some sort of case manager or therapist. Usually they have no idea that the person is doing this sort of thing and often times they're the only ones that can put a stop to it. And they won't be shocked to hear that it's going on. :)

But like I said, I may be completely wrong. I'm not trying to stick a label on him- it's just speculation. :2 cents:
