the only time my cat will be bad is when i leave him for more than a day.. then it starts shitting and pissing in my plants and terrorizing the hubby and kids. I don't blame him though.. i feel the urge to piss and shit all over the place when i am left with hubby and kids for too long:1orglaugh

Cats hate the smell of citrus, spray the area with that scent. When you catch a cat doing something you don't like, catch it in the act and spray it in the face with a spray bottle, they hate water (Works great for my cat), my cat wouldn't use the litter box because it didn't have a cover, put one over it, and it never pissed anywhere else again since.

if you're too stupid/undisciplined to have a pet without beating it, give it away to someone a little wiser. That someone won't be hard to find, and you really shouldn't be responsible for the care of children or small animals anyway.

cats don't generally associate the beating with the behavior. Get a litter box and rub her feet in it and the problem will generally stop.

One thing I've noticed: the people who like to beat on kids and tiny animals are usually the most sissified, submissive bitches to people bigger than they are, and they like to take it out on something that can't fight back.

I had a cat and I'll agree the spray bottle was the ticket - the only thing is you need to spend like a weekend following them around ready to pounce everytime. The petstore also sells some stuff that is suppose to remove the smell from where they pissed before and that's key to making sure they don't piss again.
