How should I go about cleaning my HDTV (53" Panasonic)? It doesn't have a cover or anything...it's just the bare screen. There are some oil marks from people touching it and random stuff like that. Water and a towel? Monitor cleaning solution? What will hurt it?

HDTVs (at least mine) do not have a glass surface. It's a flexible, course plastic. It's rough to touch and traps water in the grooves when you try that method of cleaning.

Interesting. I own 0 HDTVs. I almost bought a Samsung HDTV monitor, but decided to wait until the built-in tuners are more common place or when there's a TiVo with an HDTV tuner. But the ones I looked at were smooth and had glass.

What does it say in the manual?
