Big talk but no demo on his site.....

Wouldn't that be the ideal place to demo his unstoppable popups???? Most are all dependent on java-script or vb-script in some way so if you disable "active scripting" in IE, that would kill it. Once that is determined , it is just a matter of figuring what the trigger event is. If its a java applet, that can be dealt with to.

The thing about popups was that it opened a new window, which even after the original site was closed, was still active. This new method is just a layer in the same window. Close 1 window, you close all the popups as well.

It's not that effective at all

To close all pop-ups you must close main window, not one of others...
But the most important think, is that user see the popup no matter does he have popup blocker or not.

I'll bet you are a code thief. Somebody comes out with something. You hack it and steal the code, call it your own, then try to sell it for half price. No thanks. I wouldn't do business with anyone that has a .tk domain anyway.

Blah.... Google, "dhtml layer popup" dozens of fine examples on
how to implement and block. Even a nice link to Pro PopUp for
$35.

I'll keep my faith in an applet any day since the bytecode engine
is unlikely to be updated with a simple auto notified update from

I didn't steal nothing except the content of the site - i don't have time to get another facts. I never buyed, or installed popoverGenerator on my machine, how i can crack it? I write this program because I don't have CC, and that much money. But when the program was finished (70% of the source is mine) I decided to sell it.
I use .tk domain because as I said I m not able to pay for .com domain
Everybody who want to pay almost 3 times expensive is free to get other program. But I don't think that it's better.

Well, Brian DID find out and is sending the thief a nasty email! Where do some people get the balls? All my scripts are free for everyone to use and this jackass wants to profit from work that isn't even his!

I found this forum by looking through my server referrer logs. Thanks for the info everyone!

By the way, my popup code is not meant to allow people to post their annoying advertisements, but for informational purposes, or legitimate use like site navigation. Blocking these popups would actually be quite simple. I'll see if I can find some way of stopping it from being wrongly used.
