Seems to me that webmasters paying these click amounts make overture very happy.

I never understand why so many of those big buck advertisers seem to like to literally throw money away. See the search term "Casino" and see the top two bids:
Desert Dollar Online Casino (Advertiser's Max Bid: $25.00) $150 Deposit Match at Crystal Palace (Advertiser's Max Bid: $16.03) Theres a motherfucking $9 gap in position 1 and 2. Position 1 is paying approx $9 more than he needs to per click. What a fucking waste - !!!! |

$8.90/click is only to keep that person in the top position. The $8.90/click person is actually only paying 1 penny more than whatever bidder 2's highest bid is. That could be $0.10/click.
