What is going on with Epoch?

This isn't a bankruptcy thread, but in the past week or two we have seen all sorts of rollercoaster results from Epoch.

Long stretches of dry spells with low/no sales, their financial reports going down 3-4 times a week for 12+ hours at a time (they're still down now) and dodgy rebill/cancel/refund numbers.

So far Epoch has opened some nice doors into cross/upselling our members without worrying about handling the customer service on our end, but after seeing the last week or two I'm really considering going back to merchant accounts. At 18% you're basically taking on another partner in your business, you shouldn't be constantly wondering if that partner is even functioning properly. Anyone having similar problems?

I know that since OxCash switched to using them as the primary biller, I can't make a fucking sale for shit or even sell a fucking trial. When it was Jettis processing for them I was making a killing. Then overnight when they switched I have sold virtually nothing and my traffic has even increased.

Oh yeah did I mention they're processing for meatholes.com

Yeah in no way am I saying this has anything to do with their financial situation or any of the current rumor, but numbers are numbers, and frankly we know what our numbers should be with the # of members we have and the amount of traffic we're sending. This isn't a payment or competence issue at this point, it seems like something on the backend is not doing what it has to do.

Oh we've talked at length with Epoch. I think it's more of a technical thing, their batching process, the codes, etc.

We have seen great numbers with the memberplus/approval/etc features Epoch has, it's the normal sales, conversion notification, and something of the underlying structure that has me a little concerned. If that makes any sense.

Sorry if I'm being a little unclear but I'd like to hear what other peoples' experiences have been lately. As I said this seems to be a recent thing, and is unrelated to any slowdown, which interestingly we haven't seen either this summer.

I just ran some test joins on a couple of your sites. You have problems with your flex post interface.

            Please call me asap.

Wow, okay thanks Clay. Calling as soon as I'm done chasing my programmer around the office with a hatchet.
