Video Voyeurism as it's called in the headlines makes it illegal to use hidden cameras on your tenants? There's a law against audio devices, but apparently until this law was passed none against hiding cams in your tenant's bathroom!

WTF?

NY is the first to pass this law and also a law against selling pics or vids on the web.

Go read it, you guys figure this one out.

invasion of privacy. id be pissed too if someone filmed me without my knowledge and especially in my home. who has the right when i am paying to live there? NO ONE.

I agree Cassie, but THIS story says that until this law was passed it was okay for your boss, your landlord, your parents to video you in your bedroom or bathroom WITHOUT notifying you and SELLING that video to whomevery they wanted.

That's just NY. What about the other states and other countries?

hmmmm how many landlords got shot between the eyes for this behavior... i know mine would have if i found that fucked up shit out. I cant believe it legal at all.
