Is Gator selling ads on your site? Find out here.

This has probably been posted before, but I thought I'd post it again for those who haven't seen it:

http://asp-cyber.law.harvard.edu/gat...=microsoft.com

That site will allow you to type in your domain and see if Gator is selling advertising on your site, and which specific ads they are selling.

You should also consider adding the following link to your website:

http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite

If the owners of all of the big free adult sites were to put a link to the Dox Desk site, they could reduce the number of surfers who are exposed to parasitic advertising.

I'm really surprised there hasnt been more of a response to this thread. My site is targetted by 9 different competitors and its fucking bullshit. Does anyone know of any successful suits against the advertisers themselves?

The cat and mouse game will never end.

Fighting it is a waste of time and resources.

Some of the very same people you call parasites likely post here.

I dont think trademark violations are the issue. If someone has the intention of connecting to your site and they see pop ups of competitors that to me is theft. Its no different than calling Dominos and they put you on hold and all of a sudden you hear Pizza Hut ads, the 'real' business world wouldnt tolerate it.

trademark is the only real way to get them in court.

They were going after them for some sort of interference in other people's business or something, I thought.

There are better ways to go after them than on trademark issues.
