Read it, learn it, know it and get the fuck over it.

The house was the first house I bought in the L.A. area after I left the Army. I was then, and still am a bachelor...and it was adequate for me. It was a four bedroom house, two bathrooms, with a three car garage. I eventually did the inside all in marble and put in a pond in the back yard. It was located in the Tarzana area if you feel you must know. I bought and sold nicer and more expensive homes in the L.A. area...and still have several rentals in the L.A. area...but I am considering selling them since I have moved to Northern California. I am also in the process of selling some other properties that I have as they are to scattered.

Since the house was adequate for me and I am tight with a dollar I never gave much consideration to moving into a more expensive home. I sold the house for $456,000 dollars, as I have already mentioned, when I moved to Northern California.

I have never told you or anyone else that I am rich. I will be property rich when all of my properties are paid for...and they are paying for themselves. I do not know what your definition of rich is...but in my eyes if one does not have a million dollar per year income I don't consider that person to be rich. In my case I do not have any financial concerns and will not have for the remainder of my life.

I do not owe you...a clueless ass...an explanation of any kind...but I am still drinking and not ready to retire to bed...so I will respond. I was not a Private I was an E-7. I began buying fixer uppers in North Carolina when I was stationed at FT. Bragg. I had owned and sold several houses during my 12 years of service. It is something that PF clued me in on...as he started building his property wealth early in his military days and during his 30 years in service he retired very well off. So I came out of the Army with a pretty solid bankroll. In addition have you ever heard of Vetran loans from which you get a low percentage. California has CALVET which is even a lower percentage than a VA loan. I bought that particular house for $261,000 and sold it 11 years later for $456,000.

I was around 33 or 34 in the first picture and I was something past 40 in the second picture. I have stated multiple times that I live with severe pain 24/7 since '91 and it takes its toll. I have pure white hair now.
