Why take all your dirty laundry out here in the public... Are there any 'subliminal' reasons? I think Paul is a fine guy. He's here to do business as anybudy else. DarkJedi, posting to the board and calling someone a "Snake" in the topic of a thread the way you did is quite vindictive and uncalled for.
The topic looked to me like one of the all too common threads where one party is accusing another party of scamming them. People who do not read the thread might gain the wrong impression and in that sense you're not being overly fair. Commonsense tells you that there are a multitude of reasons why you might have signed up, not received a confirmation email yet still been placed into both the members access list and mailing list of charly's content site. Had you contacted Charly directly or even asked the question on GFY then you might have resolved your problem and everyone would be happy. It frustrates me to see the continual bickering and slandering which goes on around the boards. Half of the webmaster community need to grow the fuck up and start acting like the business professionals they want to be rather than childish idiots. The real "players" in this industry are the ones who conduct themselves with class and act in an appropriate manner toward the people that they do business with. The tossers who think post counts and $ in the bank make them "players" are deluding themselves. I buy content from Paul Markham, I signed up using my real name and details and he and Eva have always dealt with my orders expeditiously. I have also received his regular emails. I hope that nobody reading just the topic of this thread are put off from buying from Paul simply because of the topic. |

The reason why I would not have done business with you if you had of ordered is simple. You used a nick name not a real one, my sign up form says no nick names.
But your account was active you could of gained access to the site, of course if you forgot your password and could not use the "Forgot Password" button then I guess you could not get into the site. But as OzMedia pointed out, you could have resolved this a lot easier and enyone reading this thread will see that until now you made NO attempt to resolve it.
