This is how it works, YOU make the money and some how Serge will get a piece of it.

Conclusion:

He is harmless and a teddy bear, he is a moving target that can be out foxed, turn the tables on him and play with him in a thread and you will grow to love that old Ruskie :-)

Man you just gave yourself away. You are 100% newbie. I dont even think there were galleries in 98. I remeber toplists just coming out back then, and the TGP's followed shortly afterwards.

Back then it was link lists, PK sites, toplists... and my specialty, search engines. Back then Excite alone would send me up to 60k uniques a day. Before Google was around. It was all excite, altavista, hotbot, yahoo and lycos.

Like I said, I was smalltime, and the checks were $50k.

They got bigger as time went on

The "galleries" The Hun listed were mostly Adult Check back doors. Since bandwidth was so expensive...it pissed a lot of webmasters off to get their galleries listed on The Hun...people were constantly whining about it on the Adult Check webmaster board. A few of us submitted our own back doors because we could turn a profit off the traffic.

People eventually stopped bothering with the AVS front end and just built the galleries. Hence TGP was born. I was there...and if anyone says it happened any other way...it's bullshit.
