Very true, they had a good outerlimits on this exact subject, but somethings are a bit more inspired than others. The theory of relativity is a bit of a stretch, the duality of light isnt, that would have certainly been explained by someone. But now-adays there is so much collaboration on theories that it's almost impossible to imagine one scientist being responsible for tremendous break throughs in theoretical physics, although it has and continues to happen. But then again everything is timing, who knows how inventions would be affected had certain theories not been discovered for a period of time.

I think its just confusion because there was no state of Israel that Jewish people were supposed to identify with so it kind of blended nationality and religion. But the two are quite separate things even if they are used interchangeably often. But definition wise they are distinct.
