I just received a phone call from a man that says he was given my number from FBI agents that visited his home. He says that my name was on a list along with Boss Hawg, DatingGold, and some other names I can't remember.

He knew my name, my home address, my age, and other personal information that I don't publish. He would not give me his name, or his website.

He says they were asking him all kinds of questions about me and others about 2257, child porn, prostitution, credit card fraud, and other illegal activities. He said that the FBI told him that we were all involved in these illegal activities.

I have no idea what the fuck this is about... Has anyone else been contacted?

hmm First of all, FBI would never ever give your number out to that guy. FBI doesn't give out information of "other people" involved when they visit someone. He is probably some fool fucking around. if you did some illegal shit, FBI would bust in to your door after knocking twice or so (It aint pretty), FBI wouldnt fucking give your phone number out to some other guy

personally i don't worry about this kinda thing, i just don't involve myself in questionably illegal stuff, but still. if you want to *really* make data safe... that's the only way to do it. you can erase it, format it, smash it to pieces, and a good data recovery house will bring most of it back. granted, it costs $1000/mb, but hey, the government's got a lot of money

Hey, read my posts again.

I was investigated at the local level for obscenity charges . . . not to mention prostitution, 2257, etc. . .. and the local DA in Oklahoma contacted the FBI and had THEM download my entire website (member area included).

All I am saying is that the phone call was bullshit, but the fact that he is under investigation might not be bullshit. He'll know if he gets served
