2 nights ago my wife, new born baby and I went to a McDonalds here in California. (im on vacation), My wife ordered an ice cream in a cup, because she hates cones. When we pulled up to get our food, the guy gave us a cone and I told him "We ordered this in a cup". He throw the cone in the cup upside down. So we drove around and parked and I was going to tell the manager, but the dinning room of McDonalds was closed, so I decided to go through the drive throw again and talk to the manager that way. Well when we pulled up to the window, there were about 5 guys standing behind the manager (the manager was the same guy who through the ice cream in the cup), like they were going to jump through the window and kick my ass. I told him that I ordered an icecream in a cup, not an ice cream cone in a cup, and I was very polite about it and he told me "Well you have to pay for a sundue", and I was like "Thats fine, but I ordered an ice cream in a cup not a ice cream cone" and I handed the ice cream back to him. Then he started going on about me having to buy ANOTHER ice cream, because he wasnt goign to give us what we ordered for free to replace his fuck up, so I asked him for the original ice cream cone in the cup back. He throw it at me, getting ice cream all over me, my 1 month old daughter and my wife. We drove off and as we were driving off some of those guys ran out side like they were wanting a fight. I'v called the Corporate headquaters of McDonalds and they dont seem to helpful. What should I do?

This isnt my first bad mcdonalds experience, about 6 months ago I went to mcdonalds, I ate inside, I was in there for 20 minutes, I came out and my car was towed. For NO REASON AT ALL

It is never too late to charge someone with assault. My friend was drunk at a burgerking, he basically threw his drink, like a toss, but not quickly at one of the people behind the counter who was being a dick, he got charged with assault! it never went to court, but in your situation it would be a good way to bring attention to the shitty employees there and cause the Owner to fire some ass.

I would persist complaining to the corporate headquarters as well as the owner of the local establishment. You should be able to get some sort of reimbursement or at the very least an apology letter (yay). Large corporations treat PR and quality of service very seriously, they shouldn't be fucking around on ya.

If they persist, here's what ya do (cause its legal, and you wont get in trouble):

Go buy a cheap fish from the local market. Let it sit outside for about a week, then go dump it in their indoor trash or leave it in the bathroom. Do it a few times and they'll regret being asses. (or at least it'll make ya feel better)

I don't think I could have put up with someone throwing shit at my wife and kid. My fuse is way, way too short. The truth is, you probably did the right thing because going to jail or getting beat down won't do you any good but I can't imagine myself not kicking some ass in that situation.

The McDonalds in Australia isn't that bad. we don't have that sort of thing happen ... a lot of macdonalds stores have cameras at the window. you could look into if they have that.

What i do when i want something specific from maccas (what we call it) is, when ordering, say eg. "I want a McChicken WITHOUT the sauce." and when they repeat the order say "make sure you don't have the sauce on the mcChicken cos the person who want it is allergic to it!" you could probably add in that you'd sue his ass if there's any on it hahaha.

Climb under his car and tie the fish on top of his mufler, everytime he drives the heat will cook it up just enough so that it starts to smell. . . And he wont know where its comming from for weeks.

The McDonalds in Australia isn't that bad. we don't have that sort of thing happen ... a lot of macdonalds stores have cameras at the window. you could look into if they have that. What i do when i want something specific from maccas (what we call it) is, when ordering, say eg. "I want a McChicken WITHOUT the sauce." and when they repeat the order say "make sure you don't have the sauce on the mcChicken cos the person who want it is allergic to it!" you could probably add in that you'd sue his ass if there's any on it hahaha.
