Epassporte option worth it?

I'll be making the e-book on paysites live this week and I wondered how worth it it would be to have an Epassporte option to accept payments. Anyone selling products to webmasters using Epassporte? Comments...

Epassporte sounds like a good processor option for existing account holders. I'll be adding them shortly.

That'll be ready next week... I just wanted some other options like I have Paypal in there and didn't know how much Epassporte may have caught on so far too.

I don't understand why people keep asking this question, unless there's something about epassporte that I really don't understand.

If you take VISA as a payment option then you already take epassporte right? Because all it is is a VISA

Mark, it's just my opinion, but if I were starting any sort of new project on the internet I wouldn't want to rely too heavily on PayPal . . . especially if there is any connection to the adult world.

For epassporte to really catch on, they have to go after the consumer : put ads in newspapers , make deals with nonadult websites and that will give them creditablity with consumers. They need to spend money and ads in AVN online arent going to do it.

This is just an e-book for webmasters though so that's why I asked here in the biggest webmaster forum to see how many webmasters might prefer to have the option open to them. I'm well aware of the problems with Paypal with regard to the adult biz. Of course just taking flat out Visa/MC payments is the most important method, I'm just trying to cover the alternate methods to be as open as possible. =]

Why dont you get a merchant account ,what you are selling is not high risk so you can get the account for next to nothing.

They will also need to let potential customers sign up for an account. I have just had my squeaky clean Master and Visa turned down by epassport. I use my cards online about ten times per month without problems and liked the idea of a card with a controllable limit for Internet use only but epassport have other ideas.

That's what I'm doing for the Visa/MC option. I wasn't asking about Epassporte in lieu of using the standard ways of charging, just in addition to. I was wondering if it was around enough to make it worth taking the time to set it up. =]

Lol... Kimmy. I got a little carried away since I have been so good for so long.

MarkTiarra - Epassporte is a good option to add :-)
