the gsx-r 1000 (I think that is what it is) has a hyabusa like nose and it has the traditional r/w/b color scheme and looks hot...I will try and find a link.

You wild and crazy guy:drinkup

The bad part about speeding is not that you can turn yourself into little pieces of shredded flesh, but that you can also do that to the other people on the road. :321GFY

voodooman 06-17-2003 01:12 PM

JFK,

When your born in Kansas, and raised in Oklahoma,
both are pretty boring places to live, so you have
to make your own fun, sometimes it involves breaking
the law.
Luckily for me, my parents owned the only donut shop in
town, so the only time I got speeding tickets, was when
I left the county.

:winkwink:

ToyBoys 06-17-2003 01:22 PM

550km/h in my chev s10

theking 06-17-2003 01:37 PM

FTVGirls 06-17-2003 01:47 PM

155 mph in Mitsubishi 3000GT (governor removed)

ffmihai 06-17-2003 01:53 PM

190km/h in england on one of those 1 band tight roads with bushes on the right and the left. visibility was very low and it really sucked but the driver was a good friend and i could not kill him.

MediumPimpin 06-17-2003 01:58 PM

191 MPH clocked at the start finish line at Daytona International Speedway, it was a bike does that count?

Fastest I have gone in a car is 140, but that was flat out on a long sweeper in my M3 lots of fun:thumbsup

Rich J. 06-17-2003 01:59 PM

140+ mph in my old Eagle Talon TSi with witnesses.

I like the power and speed of the bussa, but not to hip on the looks of it.
I was talking to a mech at a local dealership, he was working on one and said the guy punched it, and the torque of the machine snapped the stock chain in half.

I wasnt sure about your claim, so I looked it up. Damn, your right. :)

Yeah I like the R-1's they are great bikes to ride. I am just intoxicated with the amount of power the new Suzuki's have(and can get with a couple of bolt ons). I have been riding since I was 6, and I must say these are exciting times.... :thumbsup I think if you like to do any traveling on a bike, but dont want to sacrifice comfort for performence then get your hands on a Bussa. If you really just like to carve it up for weekend blasts then the R-1 would be a better bike for you. I will tell you though on the highway(Roll on) the R-1 will not hang long with a Bussa, or the GSXR1000. :winkwink:

There a stretch of two lane highway going North from Raton up into Colorado that is as straight as an arrow for as far as you can see. From the top of a hill on a clear day.... Its called the Gunbarrel by the locals and thats where you see the Corvettes and Mustang State Police cars, and in the 80's they actually had a Porsche Turbo. They use those cars to catch the speed freaks that drive down from Aspen and Denver just to open their cars up on that road.
Not much point for a cop to radio ahead for a roadblock when youre in the middle of fucking nowhere and theres no police for miles and miles.

On, on topic-
160 mph, 99 Porsche C2 Cab
150 mph (+/- about 5 mph) 67 Firebird
145 mph 86 Honda Interceptor 500 (indicated, at 12K rpm (Redline is 11.5K))

But the most intense of all is riding an old school chopper in New York City. That is adrenaline.
Fuck Taxi's!

This thread has my name all over it.....

140 MPH in my new Mustang GT.

In my first Mustang..... '95 GT.... I got clocked doing 135 MPH. Cop was cool, and he wrote me a ticket for doing over 100. $800 fine and my insurance went through the roof.

This past weekend....... 186 MPH on my motorcycle on Rt. 10 heading out to California. That was a once in a lifetime!

175mph on my ZX-7 tricked out just a tad. Thinking of adding NOS next...

On-top 06-17-2003 03:36 PM

145 Mph in a 911 around the DC Beltway. Damn.
140+ Mph in a Ford Ranger with a Chevy V8.
130 Mph in a supercharged T-Bird, old Impala, '69 Chevelle, and '68 Camaro RS.

I got my old Honda cx500 motorcycle up to about 85 Mph one day..LoL. I don't like going that fast without some structure around me.

Was you one of the winners of the Texas Dodge givaway?

Mr. Jim 06-17-2003 07:06 PM

1992 coming back from Tucson there is a stretc h of freeway that is like a 6% grade (something like that) I was in my 1989 Mustang GT...had gt 40 heads....bigger injectors....Svo exhaust with flowmasters....k&n ram air a hyperchip, power pulleys...etc

not a soul in sight and a "way before its time" mitsubishi starion rolls up on me at about a buck o five.

we both hammer it..........we must have been floored for about 8 miles.

My gt did not have the 140 speedo so i never knew how fast i was going....the speedo was sleeping on the odometer needle

we pulled over in part due to the shaking....the guy in the mitsu...says he was clocking 156 and I was pulling him

other than that I think DaveHolio had the viper up to 140 or so.....between stop signs

If Dave Holio offers you a ride in the viper...make sure you are wearing deodorant, maybe some depends, call your insurance agent to make sure you are up on your premiums, and make sure you take a nice pee

on a bike....130 ZX-7

still none of it compares to hitting a double (to much of a pussy to triple) on a crf 450

brrrraaaap

Hmm yea any pussy can hold the pedal to the metal, but it takes some huge ass balls to hit a blind double jump, and a triple fuck that:)

Mr Pheer 06-17-2003 08:04 PM

I hope all you freaks that drive like this on the public roads and hiways are at least organ donors
