Merchant Account Rates?

I dont know what the exact rules are on the forum, but I had to get a summer job, I didnt' just sign up to post this, I've been reading GFY for a few months now, and I've replied occasionally.

I started working with a merchant account company, and I noticed one of the guys working with me has been posting on the CE Webmaster forums, and the guys on these sites have been paying SUPER HIGH merchant account internet rates.

So I'm curious what you guys are paying for your internet merchant account rates?

Would I be allowed to offer this companies services on here if I can save you guys money?

The company is legit and has 22 offices nationwide, I can post all the website information and depending on what kind of rates everyones getting I'd be willing to offer everyone looking for a new merchant account or people would would switch if I can beat their current rates the companies lowest rates to everyone.

Like I said it's just a summer job, and I have the ability to whore our thier lowest rates to everyone.

I don't think the CE board deleted his post, but I dont want to disrespect the guys who run this site and have this post deleted.

so if you guys would be interested in takin advantage of my summer job and my ability to whore out contract-less accounts lemme know otherwise...

Go Fuck Yourself!

But please tell me your rates as I'm pretty curious too..

Obvious spam above

Get with Netbilling for a merchant account. They work with all of the reputable banks. We have setup 3 accounts with them so far.

My post isnt spam, like I said it's just a summer job, and I figured since I'm on these forums anyways and you guys are in need of good rates, I might as well offer.

I'm a real person, I know some of the people on here.

I just figure I'd offer.

The company has a 99.9% approval rate right now, so your high risk websites aren't even an issue.

The company's website is www.cardreadyamerica.com, they are also the one of the 2 importers of the wireless terminals, not that is of any use to you guys, but I thought they were pretty neat.

For internet only metchants, taking phone orders and weborders, they have a system called Payready, which an be demo'd at payready.net.

If your paying above 3%, definately let me know.

I'm sure you guys dont care about retail swipes but I'll post our starting prices anyways.

The starting qualified swipe rate's the company has if you swipe the cards(which you guys arent doing) is 1.79, and I'm able to go as low as 1.6 and theres a .25 transaction fee.

For internet/nonswiped rates, the rates start at 2.49 and 30cents with AVS(if you ship anything out off your site, its' helpful, and I can go as low as 2.3%(I can go lower if the customer provides there last month's merchant account statement, from what I've been trained the 2.3% rate is pretty damn close to the bottom of the barrel, and if someone is getting less than that there are hidden fees, or if you look at the merchant statement, they say they are getting the qualified swipe rate, but they are actually getting non-qualified rates and when you examine your hard to read bills, you'll see where they get you in the end).

I mentioned the hard to read bills, becuase another thing they emphasize is no hidden fees, no contracts, and easy to read bills.

If the company seemed like a scam, I'd leave and move on and get another job, as I'm just working over summer till I finish up school.

I have my ICQ number in my sig, but I rarely have it autosign on, and I dont know many ICQ users, except when I used to chat with Dean, who's been on here quite alot lately, and it seems like he's enjoyin live in San Diego with Oliver Klotz.. I'm jealous.

I contacted Dean a while back when David Lace was seeking an assistant, unfortunadely I didn't know enough about lighting at the time to impress him. :-)

In case your wondering my connection to everything I used to do adult casting with David Wood(row), who used to do things with Playboy Tv and so forth, theres an article on him on some website, I found a while back, if anyone remembers him, he was the clean Jim South, and I think since has been banished to Canada?

I've also been doing glamour/fashion photographer with a photographer for the last year in a half and I wanted to starting doing adult. You can check out the photographer I used to assist till January @ www.ashgupta.com he doesnt do content but I'm sure some of you can appreciate fine photography, he's currently working on his website.

Like I said I'm a real person, this isn't SPAM, I've been using spamcop, and trust me I'm Mr. Anti spam, and yes I've ready all the post on here of the people who are pissed their kids are getting spammed with adult websites...

Well for those that ARE interested, you really have nothing to loose, if you dont like it theres no contract, and although I haven't been there that long the acceptance rate is 99.9 or something, so as long as I find people who didnt BK, I can get them rolling.

If your happy with netbilling and the other companies, than go for it... they provide me with leads to call all day long, I just figured I'd offer it to the several forums I partcipate on.

I forgot to mention, this is for US companies only, they are working on a deal with Dutch bank or something in Canada, but right now I believe it's US only companies, I can check out other countries if theres interest, but I just got started on all this and I'm still figuring out the details.

Damn I did just however look at netbilling.com

Our transaction fees are simple... only 1.5% and 15¢ per transaction.

I'm going to look into it, you guys who have netbilling can verifiy there's no hidden fees and your all getting the 1.5/15 rate? They are quoting you 1.5 and than charing you some outrageous fees for non-qualified and everything?

But whats with the $200 setup fee? that doesnt seem right.

Soul_Rebel,

Here's the info for the payready.net site as well..

this is the main company based out of Culver City..

If you research the company and find any flaws, lemme know, theres plenty of companies our here hiring for similar work, and I just need to keep busy over the summer, but if you find out they are a scam, I'll use it as a reason to leave..

hi brothenberg, i can't say anything bad or good for the co. you work for since I do not know it. Just have in mind it's not that simple someone to move his business because he read a board post. There's a business risk everyone has in mind and such decisions should be very well examined. It will be good to reffer some of your major clients for the ones that might be interested.

Hi Brothenberg,

Contact me Monday and let's see if we can work together. I will be out of the office tomorrow.

661-252-2456 x1002

Thank you, Mitch Farber

p.s. We charge 1.5% and 15¢ per transaction. That is our gateway, fraud scrubbing, admin rates... not the bank discount rate.

Hahaha, you started there Monday and you are here hawking shit that's too good to be true on Thursday? You're either a really fast learner or ...

a spammer.

Who else do you process for in adult? Can you give us the names of 3 programs that you process for?

And does FM know you are on here posting about some guy spamming his CE forums?

You know I straight out told you it wasn't spam, if you read a little you'd see.

It's not too good to be true, those are the rates. Like I said it was just an offer if anyone wants to take advantage of it, I'm not peddling it, I don't care wheter this gets any bites, it was just an offer. They company has plenty of people to call, stacks and stacks of leads, wheter I can help out the GFY webmasters or not is completely optional, now that I know the rates and know somewhat what I'm talking about, I figured i'd try and get people I know on their rate plan while I'm working there over the summer to hook them up, like if your friend worked at sony and offered you a nice new wega at his discount, same thing.

Who's FM? He is the webmaster in the forums? From what the other REP told me, they didn't delete his post they simple moved it or something, so I'm assuming they didn't consider it spam, I'm trying my best here NOT to come off as a spammer, since I've been reading these forums for the past few months before I started doing this, you should read what I wrote I explained my situation.

I don't know all the clients the company has, they do small and medium sized businesses, the guy that hired me handles the medium and larger companies, he's been having meetings with pinkdot, and this companies goal is to deal in quanitiy, low rates and quantity.

If someone would be interested in getting more infromation, I could fax them over some info, they can scan it over, check things out, make sure its applicaple for what you guys do and if it is and it goes through, they can come back on here and tell you guys if its something you guys/girls could use...

Like I said it was just an offer, and I realize it's kinda sketcy, but that why i posted up the information at the beginning of the post. If your not interested, your not interested, really doesnt matter to me, I thought it would SAVE you money, not me, and like I said they give you plenty of people to call, I've literally spent W and TH on the phones going through pages and pages of people they have to call back or call about inquires.

Mitch, I'll give you a call, maybe you can explain to me the differences and everything.

Do you guys work with credit card processing companies? Are your rates the 1.5% on top of the bank discount rates?

It seems like what I've been trained so far, there has to be some kinda catch there somewhere, if it's not already in the $199 setup fee, but I doubt that'll make up the differences. I would guess you guys have a completely different pricing structure specifically for adult sites?

Anyways if you feel like posting how they are associated, I'd be interested in reading.

Like I said this is just a summer job, but i figure I'll come out learning some neat information either way.

One cool thing I get to learn is how much different companies do.

For Instance I call up hair salons that do 50k a month in credit cards, and I can see what kind of money those stores do, and I randomly talked to the guy at Coffee Bean and Tea leaf on melrose(your in 661, so I assume you know the area, my old office was around the corner) and I can see how much that little coffee store does in a month.

Eh, It's just kinda neat seeing what kind of money different types of stores do, it's also interested to see just how much giving them a little bit of discount helps.

For instance I spoke to one lady and she is doing 50k in visa master card charges alone @ 1.9 percent. She's paying around 920 bucks a month just in those charges, if I get her down to 1.6 or 1.7 somewhere around there it comes in around a savings of $100 bucks a month they save, so it's a $1200 a year discount, just for changing merchant accounts.

It is pretty hard however to get someone to go through all the hassel just for a $100 bucks a month when they already found a service and are setup, if it was a person thats one thing, but when you call a large company they really couldn't care less.
