I think QuickTime rocks.. for the one and only simple reason that you can adjust the slider bar (like FF on a VCR) and the screen will "show" what's going on when you're fast-forwarding or rewinding so you can actually see what's going on.

Very handy for fucking dorks who don't know how to cut video clips..
