    moving to a new server

    i'm moving from virtual host to a dedicated host.. what is the easyest way to move the mysql database of trade script from the old server to the new server?

    I would say copy the tables when mysql is shutdown or create a dump file.

        Use mysqldump although the hosting company you are moving to should be taking care of your server migration for you so that you wouldnt have to worry about it.

          mysqldump nameofdatabase -u username -p yourpassword nameofdatabase.dump

            Ask your hosting company to help you transfer your files. In most cases, they should have no problem helping you out.
