raw vs. qualified clicks for conversion ratios
Looking at the standard third party processor stats, I have an idea of conversion ratios. It seems like a lot of the stand alone programs have special methods of determining conversion ratios. Like they base them on what percent of the people who hit the second page or the join page actually join.
Anybody care to explain the finer point of what a qualified click is vs. a raw click? Thanks, Amelia

A RAW hit is simple - any click to the site page.
As for the other there's no difinitive answer. It depends 100% on the sponsor/tracking used. A quick edit to add - it's one of the reason posted ratios are so much BS. Most are simply quotes of sponsor stats which can mean anything. |

I kind of thought that was probably the case. Thanks for the info. I guess I'll ask some of the programs specifically how they mean it as there is no standard on it.

AdultPlatinum defines a qualified as as someone who clicks anything on the first page.

They're pretty fluid terms that depend on the sponsor... idea with qualified hits is to filter out people that actually look at the page rather than having it load in a popup or something and close it immediately (or bots).
