PHP PRogrammers....

How different is PHP on a windows server using active PHP than the Unix/Linux servers?

I have only done PHP for windows... what do I need to know for uploading to Linux/Unix.

Thanks.

nothing as far as i can see.. just make sure the server paths arent pointing to C:\ something

make sure you run a php info script on the unix server to make sure the session limits and shit are all what u need..

but then again i have www.phatservers.net to take care of all that

Thanks.. I know there are a few differences with CGI/Perl, just wanted to make sure since I have only been doing PHP for a short period of time and do not know it as well as CGI/Perl or ASP.

Thanks again

But PHP uses less server resources... Wouldn't it be better to work with something like that? Besides... all I see in Adult is PHP and very little CGI/Perl. Just looking to fit in LOL
