Nice list of options, there...

I use PageMill. Nice and simple. If I wasn't using that, I would probably use the Mozilla editor.

Dreamweaver & Notepad for tweaking stuff.

The first time I used Dreamweaver was in it's early years and it rocked even then. All these years later and it's still #1.

I learned on FrontPage and I'll die with FrontPage.......besides my designs would still suck if I used anything else, I think it's the designer and not the tools that count.

True, but frontpage is really fucked up. That is what I learned on and used until I got tired of being laughed at. Personally, I like Dreamweaver and will not use anything else... It's the BEST!

eh, never liked it. i use something very similar, 1st page 2000. a lot smaller, less overhead. i dunno who copied who, but i like this one better than macromedia's.

and i can't stand dreamweaver. i guess i just can't get into all that WYSIWYG crap. i dunno, most of that stuff i guess i'd rather do myself.

i also use a lot of adobe golive. it's clean, has some nice features.

Notepad .......... but I want to start using Dreamweaver but i'm just so used to typing that I don't think I will ever get used to clicking on shit and menus, sub-menus.

i started with HotDog ......... i still miss the cartoon dog who barked on startup.

Notepad and Wordpad (for big HTML files)

The first HTML editor I have ever used was Hot Dog in 1996 at school. Since then HTML by hand, baby.

Maybe... but I do not like to type... Besides, when you are busy and the only one working then any short cut is welcome. As long as the site looks good in the browser, who cares about the code.

It's about production, get them in..... Get them out.... Get paid.
