block China traffic

How to block Chinese traffic? I guess the easiest would be by ip address in the htaccess file, anybody's done it before? If you have a code for it post it, thanks in advance.

Try using a foreign IP database and block on that. This company, http://www.maxmind.com/, provides a relatively cheap text DB of all foreign and domestic ips and country codes of which you can redirect / block based on that. They also provide source code.

I wouldn't just block it. I'd filter it and sell the traffic to sex.com
They'll pay for your chinese traffic.

As you probably know, sex.com sells filtered traffic. I guess there are people who know how to convert chinese traffic who are prepared to pay for it.

Install http://www.trafficassistant.com and set it to redirect your chinese traffic to what ever place you want.

How does the redirect in the program affect the search engines? Google as an example ban sites using redirect?
