Hollywood, we have not figured out a great use either, other then entertainment....

We are looking to rent them down here in NO for the tourists... of course I am very concerned about liability issues, we are working without insurance company, and of course dealing with the City itself.

It is fun, and gets a LOT of attention - had people stoping their cars wanting to talk...

Need to head to a local college campus...

Sorority row at LSU might be nice...

Holly what kind of 24s do you have? I just bought my Escilade, my mechanic has it, tweaking it out... I am going to driving it up to Tampa...

So what you do is put your Segway in the back of the Esci...

SteveCore - I was thinking the same thing for Vegas... that walk from the hallway to the elevators for the room is brutal... especially after partying all night....

I rode one about two weeks ago....quite possibly the most worthless fun i have had in a long time.

The technology is amazing though. Pretty steep price for that thing

I've said before that if they just put a door on the other side of the elevator, you'd be halfway there! But of course, that would allow you to bypass the casino and maybe keep a bit more of your money :-)

Some of the "Atlanta Ambassadors" use the Segway on the downtown sidewalks (the ambassadors are all over the place in order to give directions to tourists). I'm sure it's just a matter of time before one of those tourists get run over by a Segway

It is considered a motor vehicle in most places, so drinking on it would be considered drinking and driving.

Plus if you drink to much you may get wobbly, and that would cause issues....

technically if you are on a public road driving anything intoxicated you can be charged with a DUI/DWI or some related 'public intoxication' charge.

You can't ride a bicycle on a public street intoxicated. Not sure what the charge is though.

how killer would that have been man, take a Segway to the Ferry, jump on Canal St and zoom on over to my favorite punk bars downtown.

fuck, that sounds fun.

Sure beats walking and the ferry. Walking across the quarter sounds a lot more fun now. Fuck that heat.

yeh the owner / president of the company spent a fortune on this Segway. He has invented alot of things and made good money in the medical gadget dept. Something with Wheelchairs going down stairs, etc.
