Your M5 sounds like the bomb. Boris Said drives an M5 in the Grand American series and they are serious competitors!! Yours is putting out over 500 ponies, that's pretty serious.

The SL is great, only problem is that it's about 1,000 lbs heavier than it should be, so cornering leaves something to be desired. But the ride is very comfy and going straight, it flies!!

I'm gonna have to check out your M5 sometime :)

Cool1g, I actually bought my M5 from that same dealer a few years ago. It came with 400 ponies and with the Dinan S2 on it, I'm over 500 now. It flies... I cant wait for the new M5 or M6 2 door with 500 ponies stock. Then I'm sure I can get over 600 with the Dinan upgrades :) I was told its probably 1 1/2 years out though. If you have road racing tires or radials on it you'll never get it to hook up on the street going straight.

You could get a pair of Mickey Thompson Wrinkle Wall Street Slicks, it will hook up!! If you do that, you'll want to put skinny tires on the front to replace your radials or you'll be all over the road. That way, when you want to drag, you just change the tires and blow away your competition.

btw, the Viper you beat must have been bone stock :) LOL

I still have my Viper if you want to run at a track, it has 825 hp normally aspirated :)

FM, I was thinking of getting some street slicks with just a couple of grooves but I really dont want to mess with the front. But I hear ya about jumping all over the place. I love driving that car because its a 4 door sedan sleeper and its not expected to run 11's :) There is nothing like pulling up to a light with some guy in a vette, porsche, ferarri, viper, or whatever and throwing a rev and having them laugh at me until I spank them :) Something about that is such a blast.

Mike I don't want to disappoint you but neither your M5 or 360 will do anything against the Viper http://4viper.com simply because of how much work is done on the car. It's almost 100% carbon fiber now, totally stripped of excess weight (approx 2,850 lbs.) and set up for road racing.

Your M5 is very impressive for a street sleeper :)
