Charlys stuff is good, he might be a bit fast on the trigger, but mostly for a good reason as i see it.....

And if someone puts in info that's a bit suspect and Charly doesn't have any way to confirm that then he has a right to suspend that account just like any paysite owner would do with a suspected fraudulent CC signup.

We buy all the time from Charly, 30 sets min. a month the content is top notch, the service is great.

I even had the pleasure to meet him at the last Internext. The guy's got a sharp wit, and used it on me but it was all in fun, had a great time talking with him.

If you choose to not purchase his content your loss, but then that's fine by me it just makes what I purchase worth more.

I dunno exactly how charly runs his biz. But judging strictly from his posts on various boards its very safe to say that he aint an idiot.

Hey people should remember that the PaulMarkham site got attacked recently and Charly is probably pretty stressed about that right now. My guess is he and his staff are probably on their toes trying to identify the source of his troubles. This is a very competitive business

I think given these factors, many of you would've reacted the same way under these conditions.

Here is my problem with Charly?s internet practices:

On his registration page he states:

?Your inforamtion is confidential to us. We will never sell it or pass it on to anyone.

And on the boards he forgets to be professional and posts user information.

The site on the email address came up as a 404.

I also will cancel a user who provides no evidence of being in the adult business. The easiest way for a guy to prove he's an adult webmaster is to provide me a webmaster@ e-mail address based on an obviously adult domain. If he's using a Yahoo or Hotmail or nonadult-sounding e-mail address, then he will need to provide an obviously adult domain name with accurate WHOIS info (because I'll be using the info in the WHOIS to contact him). More than once I've cancelled someone who pulls the old, "Do you know who I am? I own 80,000 websites and I spend $500,000,000 a year on content," to which I reply, "All I'm asking is for you to prove that rather than merely alleging it."
