![]() They assumed no responsibility in the past in paying their resellers, and therefore webmasters, for the US minutes (for the last pay periods when they had problems with the FTC), so be very cautious about them. I lost some money I was owed by a reseller of them because he (like many other Telco resellers) didn't get paid by them for the US minutes.

Don't know about US minutes, but Telco has been as good as NCC for me. I.e. things have been worked quite well.
What comes to US & Canada routes, there're really scary things going on continuously with about all providers. So, I would not use dialers for US / Canada at all.

You can't really say anything like that until you have been in their shoes..
There are some resellers that did assume responsbility and paid out, which is awesome for them.. But they were dealing with 15000 bux to pay out or 50 000 or say even 100 000(which I don't think anyone payed out that much as I was the largest reseller and I didn't have that much overdue when everything finally came to a halt) But Telcoweb was involved in a lawsuite centered on the whole dialer industry but focused on them. They paid out over 300 000 in legal fees, which ended up getting the FTC to admit that they hadn't a clue what they were talking about and to basically drop the 16 million dollar settlement they had wanted, and tuck tail and leave.. However while this was going on they had their accounts frozen for many months in which they couldn't pay even if they wanted to, which caused most everyone to leave. And when they finally got through with the FTC, At&t decided that they didn't want to pay out for those minutes because they were now thourough convinced that we were all dirty crooks that promised free playstations by connecting to the dialer(a scam that was online for a whopping 2 hours before we found out about it and shut down all of the accounts). So them At&t didn't payout the US minutes for the past 90 days, although telcoweb was paying out after 30 days. So Telcoweb paid out for a lot of that period before finding out that At&t wasn't going to pay out, which was in the tune of god knows how many 10's of millions of dollars. Telcoweb is not a multibillion dollar company here people, they do not have an extra billion sitting in the bank incase of things like this, no dialer company does, and like I said this was chump change that they 'chinced' out on, this was to the tune of dozens of millions of dollars. BUT They did pay out on ALL international minutes to the dime.. Although they had just lost their entire reputation basically, and all those millions to the USA's backwards policies, as well as that drugged up teenager liviong with his Gramma who started that playstation scam, they still paid out a lot of money for those international minutes when they could have just gave up, and ran while they still had something.. Do you know how many dialer companies ran when the USA went down? Ever heard of GIB? The biggest one out there.. God how about listing all the dialer companies that didn't payout a dime for US minutes or international after that whole thing went down. Because there were literally dozens and dozens of dialer companies popping up at that time, how many do we have now? And how many of the ones we have now are honest? I know only a handful personally and Telcoweb is at the top of that short list.. Another popular dialer company has recently been nailed by the FTC for dirty tricks, and dishonest dialers, which is basically going to put the last nail in the coffin for US domestic billing solutions, so expect a nice surprise when no one gets paid on US minutes from them.. I have and always will stick with Telcowebs Dialers.. Right now they are the best converting international dialers overall in the world, by a long shot. I have been testing them since last year, and the new system rocks the casba!! They are honest, play by the book, and your safest bet for a dialer company these days.. PLUS they have very cool features like being able to redirect your US traffic to a paysite, or CC sponsor if you wish, as well as built in SMS billing, CC billing, Broad band drop charge billing, their dialer pages are also translated into dozens of languages that auto filter your traffic by IP And Language to insure amazing conversions!! You name it, we got it.. So if you want a great dialer that will out perform anyone else go to http://www.ultimatedialers.com we are the longest surviving Telcoweb reseller out there and can offer some of the best rates around!! Cheers

unconnected, I know that any sponsor that doesn't have revenues (as it was in their case with the FTC problem), cannot pay the money owed but from its own pocket.
But some DO pay the money they owe from their own pockets, just to keep a reputable name, and the webmasters who have dealt with such honorable people (resellers, companies) know them and can testify on any board that those guys paid them even when those guys didn't get their money. I myself know people that paid me the remaining owed amounts even when it was clear I was not sending traffic any longer to them, and when someone asks on a board about them, I say this, that they always paid me. But Telcoweb comes now with a "new" program, having the history of not paying their resellers in the past, so there is no guarantee they will pay in the future if smth. wrong occurs, it's more likely to adopt the same behavior. And this is what people not aware of that history should know.

True, I understand what you are saying, but in all of the cases that fall under what you describe the money owed was NOT in the tens and tens of millions of US dollars(worth a lot more back then than now). Also something else you have to understand is that Telcoweb is run by some VERY intelligent people, and they saw perhaps what some companies didn't see early on.. And that is that the FTC's actions in 2001 causes the complete downfall of the US dialer industry, which accounted for about 60%+ of all dilaer minutes produced by english websites.
Now, if it had been 20 million bucks say that had to be paid out to keep your reputation, and you knew that you would be able to continue doing the same revenues that you had seen in the past year indefinitely then go nuts, a smart company would do that..HOWEVER the FTC basically destroyed the dialer business in general for english speaking webmasters. Who is going to want to promote a dialer as agressively as they did if it will not produce 60% of the revenue that it used to do? This caused the majority of the big dialer players to switch to other forms of billing, and we lost most all of our clients because they didn't want to promote a product that had shitty results with the US market. So the question is why would you want to pay out 20 million dollars or so in order to keep your reputation when the FTC just destroyed your whole industry and you are going to loose 80-90% of your client base anyways? It doesn't make sense, and it isn't like telcoweb had 20+ million stashed away anyways, who the hell does?!? Instead they went quiet, and spent the past 2 years coming out with an amazing and KICK ASS product, which more features than any other dialer out there, and concentrated on the international market for the time being..
