    $300.00 Design Contest

    Adult Uptime is running a design contest for their new adult orientated web hosting service.

    The contest will run from June 5, 2003 to June 10, 2003.

    Funds will be paid via paypal at 5:00 pm, EST, on June 11, 2003

    Basic site requirements and contest rules can be viewed at our website.

    All submitted work will be displayed on the adult uptime server for the duration of the contest.

                  Umm.. so basically you want the best possible design for 300$?
                  I wouldn't even do the site for guaranteed 300$.. I bet not a lot would. Maybe pump up the price to $1k+ or actually hire a designer

                                                  I believe that it is typical because it is standard legal precedent in any type of contest where content of some sort is submitted to an organization.

                                                  If I remove this clause will that satisfy your concerns. I am not out to screw anyone, I wanted to give away $300.00 and get a reasonable site design.

                                                  That clause has been modified in our rules to reflect that only the winning submission becomes the property of adultuptime.com.
