I try to log ion ICQ, it stays for about 10seconds and says Starting.... then it just goes back to the log on screen

ICQ having problems? or? Ive tried a friend's ICQ number on my pc and it worked. Just my number not working.

That's because the guy who hacked into your network is using your icq account right now. Nothing to worry about, he told me he was just playing with ya

Are you serious it does that when someone is using your ICQ?

No dude, I was kidding ya. It usually means the ICQ database is being annoying.

but it hasnt worked for over 4hrs. You sure its a database problem? Anyone else having the same problem?

try trillian or a newer version of ICQ
