    http://www.ericblumrich.com/gta.html

How do you stop these people? Looking forward to another five years of Ass-hahahahaha.

Was reading another article where the guy basically voiced the thoughts that go through my head everytime I see the price of gas go up:

why does it shoot up the moment any little thing happen (most recent excuse: blackout in NE and ruptured pipeline that only affect Arizona and NM)

. . . but it takes weeks for price to creep down, if it ever does?
Beat it. Nothing to see here.

Oh please, don't be a whiner! We pay about 1/4 what the rest of the world pays for gas (unless you live in Saudi Arabia). Nobody "stole" anything.....GET OVER IT!

I thought that flash file was well made.

Liberal or conservative, everyone should admit that election was sketchy at best. I like how the only people who complain are liberals and the only people who defend it are conservatives. I mean, I know outcomes are important, but isn't democracy... or rather a democratic republic, about the process? Not the outcomes...

        Oh well, go figure.

Also, don't complain about gas prices, because the USA has a mass delusion that lower gas prices = strong economy, so the government has been subsidizing our gas prices since before I was born. Even at the $2 a gallon we are paying now, we are still paying roughly half what they pay in Europe.

Subsidizing how? If you took the price of a barrel of crude, added refining and other costs, a gallon would still cost well under .50 cents. The rest is free market profit and tax.

Tax makes up about half the price of gas in the U.S. and even more in Europe. That's why it's so expensive in Europe.

That's absolutely correct. The biggest cost involved is local, state and federal taxes, and in Europe the tax levels on petroliun from goverments is REALLY huge

"Too bad more Canadians did not get bombed in Afghanistan."

                or

"One could learn a lot from Chinese torturing people to death."

come from? (just two of your comments).

Even Bill O'Reily is voicing his opinion against the price fixing the oil companies partake in. You know it's bad when one of the most arrogant and hard-headed conservatives speaks for the average joe.

You obviously haven't figured it out. Conservatives WANT the average Joe to succeed so he can take care of himself. Liberals want the average Joe to rely on the goverment to take care of him so that he doesn't have to take care of himself.

So why are conservatives the ones promoting foreign sweatshop labor, wal-marts, and many of the other factors causing the huge difference in the economic status of our countries people?

And us socialists don't want the people to rely on the government, we want the government to rely on the people, while still supporting them. The governments job should be more to keep the rich from continuing to siphon wealth from the poor, not to allow them to do so.

Don't go to the UK then! Between 5-6 bucks a gallon!!!
