when charly went and posted your personal information, instead of whining like a little bitch to Lensman to ban him and edit the post, you should have just kicked yourself and remember that in the future you should be more careful in the first place and kept it offline. You're full of shit and your responses are convenient. |
You see, it's plain and obvious, I am trying to make something out of myself, and one of the routes I have chosen is this industry. I see no harm in asking how to do things right, appearantly you do.
You act as if you never had a question that got answered when you were learning this industry. |

As many newbies that come on line every day there is no such thing as an over exposed site.

There are many different ways to make it in porn, it depends on your talents, work rate and resources.
You can put up a great tour, with nothing behind it and promote the crap out of it. Then change the site design every year. So it looks different. Or you can put up a quality site that will not need 10k hits to convert a stayer and when people have seen everything after 3 months are likely to come back and rejoin. Choice is yours really, but which ever way you if you want success remember; TALENT WORK RATE RESOURCES If it were any diferent every one would be doing it. |

Also, the internet is only in something like 50-60% of American homes. Once that hits 100% it is time to start working Europe or South America. |

"keep it real"? *shudder*.

it's the newbs, for sure.
If more people understood that I'd make a gallery. Yeah, ONE gallery. I don't want to entertain the experienced free porn surfer who's already seen my gallery, I'm only interested in the newb who has never seen my gallery before. Less wasted bandwidth, same sales. The trouble is gallery owners don't think that way unless you're paying them money. That makes sense, really, because it's the large quantity of fresh content that inspires people to make links and tell their friends, and that's how the newbs find the Hun. |

the best secret I can tell you is the power of observation. Observe what others are doing, what sites they are marketing on, what they are doing with their designs...This information is incredibly valuable learning experience. Just observe everything. Look at what banners rotate at the top of GFY, ask yourself why they are doing it, how, they are doing it. Try to build a mental picture in your mind of how the business works. In other words, don't look at the business passively but actively and always ask, "WHY are they doing that?"
