I'm introducing ageverification.org to my sites for the time being. It only gates your site from countries and states that require it, and you can even just gate certain posts, pages, categories etc.

The only problem is it doesn't completely blur out the titties.

When I need to check a domain age I usually use whatsmydns because it's free and available online. I found it through Google by searching for "Domain Age Checker" and it was the first website that appeared in the results Does anyone know if it provides accurate results, or am I still checking domain age the wrong way?

went down this rabbit hole recently so i'll share what we learned.

biggest thing imo is geo-gating - only gate visitors from countries/states that actually require it. a full site gate punishes traffic from places with zero legal requirement, and thats most of the world right now. sounds like ageverification.org already does this which is the right approach

other thing: if you're weighing face age estimation vs ID upload - estimation converts way better but the models are genuinely shaky in the 16-19 borderline range. young teens get caught fine, obvious adults pass fine, but the edge cases overlap a lot. NIST testing shows the same pattern so its not a vendor specific thing. regulators mostly accept estimation anyway, just dont expect it to be bulletproof

haven't tried go.cam myself, curious if anyone has numbers on how much traffic the gate actually costs you

Looks super easy to set up : 1 line of javascript.

Xhamster is using it as 1 of their providers. I've seen other big players using it too.

There are several setup options, the easiest is to copy paste the 1 line javascript, that will trigger the ageverif sitewide (see tukif for an example) but you can also set it up so that it only triggers on specific pages. Checkout their demos.

Look under the price list that states that there's zero fee for all those different options... There's a small bit of disclaimer text that reads...

Exactly right. Each verification method has a geo availability. Ticket is a method that only exists in France, it wouldn't make sense to make it available elsewhere.

Ageverif as it has the most developed backend and frontend without having to do any coding on your part. But has an API in case you do want to code.
