I live with and care for my mother...who is a real lady...and holds two Masters. Even though her phsyical health is not good...her mind is sharp as a tack...so I have the only female companionship that I need at this point.

I am the one that divorced each of my slutty wives. In the military...certain units are frequently deployed (even during peace time) and are away from their home base more than they are there. The divorce rate is high for military personell. My philosphy was when they take my pay...they better not play...while I am away...if they want to stay.

I do not feel the need for that kind of a relationship. When I moved from the L.A. area to care for my mother some of my girlfriends that I had in L.A. came up to see me at different times. I purposely with forethought cut them loose one by one.

In this matter, I don't think you are. It's not just about the reasons for things happening, but also your responses to them, and deciding what's important and what's not. Well...there certainly have been some bad parts...I think through no fault of my own...but sometimes one can be haunted with hindsight. I will experience one of the bad parts for the remainder of my life...but I do not have any bitterness about that...though for awhile I was bitter that the Army would not let me stay...I could have worked at a desk job...but if one is not 100% fit...to carry out the job they are trained for (I was Airborne Infantry) then it is SOP for the Army to discharge you.
