Considering all the bullshit this isn't surprizing.

Physical media are the only way to go for collectors and film enthusiasts. I still buy my favorite movies on DVD/Blu-ray discs.

Whenever I download stuff from pirate bay I always convert it VHS in order to keep a copy. Somewhat time consuming, but well worth it

The huge problem is most people do not have a dvd player these days and probably would not get one.

i get all my favorite movies on UHD disc and play them via my panasonic UHD player, the difference from streaming is noticeable.

My problem isn't really with the media. It's with time.

It's easier for me to squeeze a 5-30 min YouTube vid into my schedule than it is to watch a full length movie or binge watch a series.

While I'm not a Zoomer or Millenial, I know I'm not alone in this. Pretty sure that's part of how Vivziepop and Glitch became successful.

I used to bang the British nanny who cared for the kids of one of the founders of Blockbuster. Cool story bro. I used to pick her up at the house that was down the street from the Jon Bennet Ramsey murder house and take Sarah the nanny up in the mountains around Boulder and cream pie her in the back seat then drop her off. Something so hot about British girls. Anyway I got to rent all the movies I wanted for free due to the connection so am an encyclopedia of old movies.

I'm amazed by the demand for VHS and I'll say it's not just collectors wanting it. It looks like Gen Z who's the largest consumer.
