Help Opening Outlook
I can't open Outlook on one of my PC's. I've tried from the desktop icon, the programs folder, etc. It just pops up the Outlook copyright info shit that normally launches just before the program opens but, then it stops right there?
Anyone have any ideas? I saw a trick for opening Word on TechTV once where you go to Run and type in "winword" and Word opens up. Is there anything like this for Outlook? Or any other ideas on how to get this fucking program open? |

is it outlook or outlook Express?
If its outlook then: 1 - goto start -> search 2 - type *.pst 3 - copy the file(s) it finds to a location where you can find it 4 - its located in "C:\Documents and Settings\supermule\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook" on Windows2000 and XP computers, if you cant find it 5 - Uninstall office (the whole thing) 6 - reboot 7 - Install office again 8 - visit THIS Microsoft update site, and run the auto update 9 - open your office again. 10 - most of the times it finds the PST files on its own, but if it cant, you can import it yourself - you know where you copied it to 11 - if you need to import it again, goto "Files" -> "import-export" |
