News UKs Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill

Last week saw the House of Lords pass a vote that would, if approved by the Government, introduce an amendment to the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill (CWSB) that aims to “prohibit the provision” of Virtual Private Network (VPN) services to children (under 18s) in the UK. The goal is to stop children allegedly using VPNs to bypass age verification systems.

    Fun times in the UK...

Its almost as if the British government doesnt understand that VPNs can be used for other purposes than bypassing porn restrictions lol

Keir Starmer understands completely that a VPN is dangerous as it can be used to bypass the UK political firewall. That's the whole point. How many under 18's either have the ability or would purchase VPN access with a credit card? None of these steps will stop anyone from torrenting porn etc.

If there is any doubt as to why the UK is not seen as an ally any longer it's this sort of thing. The UK is in inevitable demographic decline and in 50 years it will be unrecognizable and openly hostile to the USA and its allies.

Because these will be the only countries that are going to want to work with us after this next 'election'.
