If a site generates $1k a month, what's the dollar value to sell it?

If a niche site consistently earns around $1,000-1,500 a month, and the only expense was hosting the site, there was no traffic or advertising expense, what do you think the site should sell for?

Is it really 6 months income so the value would be between $6-9k? less? more?

The market seems to be about 6 months earnings, so $6,000 - $9,000

In todays market, I would say $3,000 to $4,500, not more.

It depends on a number of factors, for instance, the amount of traffic, the amount of fed traffic, the amount of work it takes, the amount of content on it, the stability of revenue...

depends where the traffic is coming from...if it's all coming from your work then it's not worth "6 months income"...whereever you got that figure from
